Hi everybody, Could someone please help me with the supplier of nylon mesh?

I am looking for some autoclavable nylon mesh that can be used in cell separation. Pore sizes of 53um and 83um.

Thanks for your help.

Monofilament nylon mesh in all sizes from about 10 um to 2 mm is available from:

Small Parts Incorporated
6891 N.E. Third Av.
P.O. Box 381966
Miami, FL 33238-1966
I have never tried autoclaving it, but it is probably OK.

Try "Small Parts" at 305-557-8222 or fax at 800-423-9009. they have it from 5 microns to 2000 microns hole size in sheet sizes fro 3 x 6 to 12 x 24 or 40" rolls. good luck.

Paula,
I don't know if they go that small, but you could try Delnet by Applied Extrusion Technologies Inc. PO Box 582 Middletown Delaware 19709. Tel. 1-800 521-6713. They make pollination bags with pore diameters in the 300 micron range, and also do the stuff that goes inside band-aids. Their "nonwoven fabric" is made of a material described as "polyolefin plastic resin" and not nylon.
