Due to demand for DNA/RNA QC analysis on a number of samples, the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer has been configured for single-sample runs. The system automatically performs the multiple steps of gel-based electrophoresis, replacing the need to run agarose gels to separate and quantitate your RNA or DNA samples.

Turnaround time for single-sample runs is same or next day, depending on drop off time and scheduling. Pick-up is also now available from the two UF campus locations, Fifield Hall and Health Science Center Fisher Store.

Sample Requirements

  • Please submit a minimum of 3ul of each sample in an RNase/DNase-free tube and leave your samples, including a submission form, in one of the refrigerators located at the ICBR reception desk, Fifield Hall 1253, or the Health Science Center Fisher Store.
  • Pick-up services at Fifield Hall and the HSC Fisher Store are available Monday through Friday. Please place your sample in the refrigerator by 3:30 p.m.
  • Contact the Gene Expression core to schedule and setup your project, or 352-273-8043.
