Cellomics Seminar Series 2014: High-speed imaging and image analysis for population-level cell biology discoveries

June 19, 2014 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Millipore

Speaker: Chijioke A. Mbanu , Cellular Analysis Specialist, Millipore Corporation

This seminar will focus on theory and applications of Amnis imaging cytometry, a unique technology capable of capturing multiple images of cells at rates of thousands of events per second, and deriving valuable scientific information from those images. The Amnis systems combine the speed and objectivity of flow cytometry with the detailed imagery of microscopy to allow you to objectively and quantitatively describe biological processes based on cell size, shape, and fluorescence location, texture, and signal intensity. This open platform enables new methods of research and improves traditional flow and imaging based applications.

Lunch will be provided to attendees.
