Lunch and Learn with Leica

August 16 @ 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Join ICBR Cytometry and Leica Microsystems for a series of talks from Chris Ott and Gary Schools:

  • DIVE, the New Spectral Multiphoton – Leica Microsystems has redesigned the multiphoton. The new Deep in Vivo Explorer has improved IR beam routing and control over emission wavelengths
  • Imaging Thick Live and Cleared Samples with Digital Light Sheet – Relatively thick samples pose challenges to widefield of confocal imaging. Digital light sheet is an effective way to image faster than confocal and with little phototoxicity.
  • Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging with the New FALCON System – Using a confocal to resolve fluorescence lifetime differences within a sample has many applications including, FRET, FCS, FCCS and more. This seminar will describe the new FAst Lifetime CONtrast system.
  • Confocal and Widefield Super-Resolution Techniques – Various super-resolution methods will be described. Sample requirements will also be discussed.

You have two chances to catch this seminar. August 15 at the CGRC in room 133 (10am – 2pm) and  August 16  at the MBI in LG- 101 (11am-2pm).
