Seminar: HTG EdgeSeq – Simplified, Automated Library Preparation

July 15, 2015 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Speaker: BJ Kearns, SVP Business Development

This seminar was rescheduled from June 23.

The HTG EdgeSeq application provides automated sample and library prep with no RNA extraction. It works with a wide variety of tissue types including FFPE, serum, and plasma, with very little input. For example, only 0.8mm tissue is needed from one FFPE slide or 15ul of serum and plasma. HTG EdgeSeq system is the only automated targeted RNA sequencing platform that delivers extraction free, amplification-free, multiplexed results on a multitude of biological samples (tissue, Plasma, FFPE slides, cells) in less than 24-hours.

The new HTG EdgeSeq System works with both Illumina and IonTorrent NGS systems, and prepares the library directly for NGS sequencing.

Advantages of HTG EdgeSeq assay chemistry:

  • No RNA Extraction
  • No Size Selection
  • No End Repair
  • No cDNA Synthesis
  • No rRNA Depletion
  • No Adapter Ligation
