Genomics Workshop Registration

16s metagenomics and Ampliseq targeted sequencing in the IonTorrent

The three-day workshop will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on July 29-31, 2014, in ICBR Room 184.

The goal of this hand’s-on workshop is to provide the fundamentals of library construction and data analysis for 16S metagenomic sequencing and AmpliSeq™ targeted sequencing using the Ion Torrent Personal Genome Machine (PGM). The workshop is designed for users who are new to Next Generation Sequencing, but all users are welcome. Registration is limited to 12 participants. You must receive a confirmation e-mail from ICBR before your registration is complete.

Registration Fee:

  • The registration fee for UF students, faculty, and staff is $250.
  • The registration fee for Non-UF government and non-profit customers is $300.
  • The registration fee for Non-UF commercial customers is $400.

If a UF department is paying for the workshop, the Department Fiscal Contact must fill out a Department Payment Form. This form must be completed and uploaded at the time of registration.

The deadline for registration/cancellation is 4:30 p.m. July 14, 2014. Questions regarding registration and payment procedures should be directed to Registration is limited to the first 12 participants; ICBR does not guarantee registration to any individual. ICBR reserves the right to cancel the workshop if minimal enrollment is not reached by July 14, 2014.
